Unveiled: our issue 8 front cover!

by Helen Cox on 03/12/2012

Issue 8 is our Christmas edition and for this issue the theme is Ghosts of Movies Past. A special thanks to our cover artist Dan Havardi for making this cover so deliciously quirky.

Inside our publication you can read up on the elements of cinema that have been lost, forgotten or simply keep coming back to haunt us. Educate yourself on River Pheonix’s last rise in Dark Blood, find out who Roald Dahl’s Gremlins were and learn more about lost, VHS-only film classics that are reason enough in themselves to shell out for a video player at your local car boot sale.

Of course, our awesome film coverage doesn’t stop there. You will also find features on: My So-Called Life, The Magnificent Ambersons, Pepper’s Ghost,  Home Alone 2 at 20 and The Fantastic Four film you’ll never see at the cinema. Additionally, we have dedicated a whole section of the magazine to lost films. All this and a smattering of articles on current releases and topical cinematic debates. Merry Christmas you filthy animals and a Happy New Year!

Buy a bi-monthly subscription today and a free DVD!
