What about focusing on the films of a single actor or director e.g. John Carpenter or Christopher Walken (my favourites)

Something on the art of documentary film making, there are some brilliant works out there! Truth is stranger than fiction and all that.

Coming from Ealing myself I’d like a feature on the Ealing Studios (still in use today) and about the wonderful films made there in the 40′s and 50′s.

Hi Sandra, thanks for the feedback. We actually already ran that as a feature in issue 3. It was fantastic finding out all the history about such a long running studio!

I think a future issue comparing films of the past with films of the present. All films today use special effects, cgi etc… And I believe some films from the past have managed to do a far greater job with what they had at that time!

My favorite theme is Sci-Fi movies, especially more recent films such as Avatar and Prometheus.

I would like to read:-

(and view, if TV and/or Cinema would provide this – Particularly as a Tribute to an excellent actor/actress/partnership etc).
E.G. Bette Davis, Julie Walters, Judi Dench, June Allyson, Mel Gibson, Clark Gable, James Stewart, Boris Karloff ,etc, etc.
Information given chronologically – including whole portfolio of work/ career i.e. films; TV programmes; adverts etc.
As I believe it would allow viewers to see development/ growth/ opportunities/ versatility etc.

I would like to see people’s views on the best horror films, this could be from celebrities/critics etc.
Also like my sister for example, she’s starting to want to watch scary films and never knows which ones to watch that’ll ease her into them or which ones are the best for example, best story line, best gore, best jumpy film etc so I think that’ll be good for readers to see for example the best rated horror films to see :) thanks

I’m a huge horror film, so I’d like to see something on that. Perhaps a comparision between the “classic” generation of the 80s and today’s offerings which, although generally benefitting from better production and acting, tend to be remakes of old or Japanese movies. How about a focus on people trying to make original horror movies today?

What happened next? How certain movies eg. Star Wars have lived on and developed once the cameras stopped rolling in comics/novels/cartoons etc. – how the stories continued in new media – plus sequel scripts that never quite made the cut. Also, what became of our best loved characters? eg. Did E.T. face court martial for blowing the aliens cover?
