Pretentious, cynically violent, poorly acted, with Gosling doing his somnambulist, 15 words a film performance. Scott-Thomas is hysterically bad. Narrative makes no sense. Well directed but to what end? No context for much of what goes on. Loud, brash, dumb-utterly abysmal; Emperor’s new clothes for Fanboys who like channeling their arrested adolescence into crud like this. Numbing, nauseating and depressing.
