This Sunday a very special event will be taking place at the Cine Lumiere in South Kensington. One of Spain’s most influential directors: Carlos Saura will introduce a special screening of his 1983 flamenco classic: Carmen.

The film is part of the Flamenco Trilogy. Choreographed by Saura and his leading man, world-reknowned Flamenco dancer Antonio Gades, the films were international hits, with Carmen winning two prizes at Cannes in 1983 and the BAFTA in 1985 for Best Foreign Film.
The winner will be drawn on Thursday 19th April. The event takes place on Sunday 22nd at 2pm in South Kensington, London.
The Flamenco Trilogy is released on DVD on 23rd April 2012.
