This Sunday a very special event will be taking place at the Cine Lumiere in South Kensington. One of Spain’s most influential directors: Carlos Saura will introduce a special screening of his 1983 flamenco classic: Carmen.
As a special treat for New Empress readers we’ve got two tickets to give away. Simply retweet our competition link or share the link on Facebook (make sure you tag us if you do) to enter.
The film is part of the Flamenco Trilogy. Choreographed by Saura and his leading man, world-reknowned Flamenco dancer Antonio Gades, the films were international hits, with Carmen winning two prizes at Cannes in 1983 and the BAFTA in 1985 for Best Foreign Film.
